Successful candidate will provide technical support services to data center and assist in the management of storage management solutions and services and provide data storage engineering design and implementation services. Specific tasking will include but not be limited to: developing a site storage management plan, conduct periodic reviews of the plan, ensure storage staff receive training in procedures, monitor data storage utilization, provide data utilization analysis and reports, document, review and maintain data storage management procedures, establish storage procurement guidelines and storage procurement approval procedures, conduct tests to ensure compliance with stated service levels, configure VERITAS products suite, maintain data backup and recovery software configuration, configure EMC Control Center Suite, establish a tiered storage hardware infrastructure to support facility continuance of operations locally and at alternate location, assist in maintaining the storage environment configuration, manage storage management software and documentation in accordance with license agreements, assist with escalation of storage problems, coordinate with vendor support personnel, assist in development, maintenance, testing and execution of disaster recovery plans, assist in preparation of disaster recovery test plans, participate in periodic disaster recovery exercises, assist in monitoring system/network/web sites in order to detect and react to intrusions, disruption of service, or other incidents that threaten the security or function operations.

| Required Experience: |
- Current working knowledge of storage technologies including Storage Technology (STK), HP Storage Works, SUN Storage, Brocade, EMC, Hitachi.
- Expert knowledge of SUN Solaris, HP HP-UX, and/or Microsoft Windows 2003
- Continuance of operations experience in Federal agencies
