| Duties and Responsibilities: |
Provide data storage engineering and architecture support for an intelligence agency data center. The position involves architecting data storage infrastructure in an enterprise class data center comprised of Network Appliance and EMC storage resources. Tasking will include but not be limited to:
- Develop data storage architectures and integration plans for EMC and Netapp storage arrays
- Conduct capacity planning and storage utilization modeling
- Oversee reallocation / optimization of existing space
- Advise data center management on most economical strategies for capacity expansion
- Supervise storage administrators, oversee periodic performance monitoring
- Troubleshoot storage related problems and develop and implement short and long term solutions

| Essential Skills and Experience: |
- Installation, management, and troubleshooting of large data storage systems (>50TBs)
- Experience and expertise with EMC Symetrix DMX X000’s and / or Netapp FAS 9XX series
- Experience and expertise with EMC Control Center (ECC) and / or Netapp Data Ontap
- Extensive experience in ensuring data integrity and availability
- Extensive experience operating in a DoD classified computing environment
- Demonstrated experience with: Windows 2003 server, Windows NT, Windows Clustering, Sun Clustering, Exchange, SAN Fabric configuration, HBA configuration, EMC Clariion, Storagescope, Timefinder, SRDF, Symmetrix Optimizer.

| Required Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the administration of enterprise class data storage systems.
- Must hold Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
- US Citizenship

| Required Certifications |
One of the following if not held, then obtained within six months of hiring:
- GSEC
- Security+
- SCNP
- SSCP Security + Certification
|
| Desired Qualifications |
- EMC Proven Professional or EMC Storage Technology Foundations Certification
- Network Appliance Certified Expert (NACE) or Network Appliance Certified Professional (NACP)
- Solaris Certified Systems Administrator (SCNA)
- UNIX System Administration Certifications
- Microsoft Certifications
